The Virginia Tech Public Health Program in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine is pleased to offer a Graduate Certificate in Public Health. The certificate is an 18 credit (six courses listed below) online program that includes the core courses in the Virginia Tech Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program.

A Graduate Certificate in Public Health will be helpful to (1) non-degree seeking students who have completed an undergraduate degree in a related discipline and want to demonstrate content competence in public health, (2) learn or review the necessary content background to sit for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) exam, and (3) serve as completion of the MPH core classes at Virginia Tech and will transfer into the MPH degree program at Virginia Tech.
